different types of fabric Polyester fabric itself is one of the common synthetic fabrics in use. Polyester fabric is regarded as one of the most ideal fabric which is often used to weave and knit textile materials. These fabrics are a by product of petroleum. 
Polyester Fabric and its characteristics
This fabric has a poor absorbency power and is difficult to wear. They are easier to sew after a thorough wash. It is difficult to press and often it damages a hot iron. It is crisp and often resistant to wrinkling. It has good elasticity and recovery properties. Easy to wash and require no ironing. Often it has good elasticity and recovery power. It is not often stained by oil and can retain static electricity. Dust and smoke are often retained by these fabrics. It attracts lint and is less elastic than nylon. Often it requires washing. Often needle and scissors don’t work on this type of fabric.

This type of fabric is often suitable for weaving and knitting and is suitable for manufacturing of all types of garments such as that of slack, tops, dresses, casual sportswear, rain coats, outerwear, and lingerie. They are often suitable for making drapery. It basically has the property of a blended fabric.
Plain Polester Fabric

It can thus be said that polyester fabric is often regarded as a wash and wears fabric. It is often resistant to fading, and it is brighter and shinier than the rest of the other fabrics and is often used for manufacturing of wide designs of cloths.
The only that needs to be kept in mind when working with this fabric is that it has specific care and handling instructions and they should be kept in mind if the product has to be used for long without the fear of imminent damage.
